About Queen Scuba Liveaboard
-
MV Queen Scuba Liveaboard is a sister company of the highly successful Coral Grand Divers in Thailand.
Coral Grand Grand Divers began in the year 2000 with a beach front resort in Koh Tao Thailand. In the years since then Coral Grand Divers has grown to include two beach front resorts in Koh Tao, being Koh Tao Coral Resort and Montra Resort, Padi dive centers in Koh Samui and Phuket Thailand. The Koh Tao Dive center is also a 5 star PADI Instructor Development Center.
Due to the ever increasing numbers of satisfied divers from our Koh Tao dive center that were looking to experience the world famous dive sites of the Similan and Surin Islands on the west coast of Thailand, the company had a brand new liveaboard designed and constructed with all divers needs in mind. MV Queen Scuba started offering liveaboard trips to the Similans in November 2003; she became a very popular choice for divers, dive centers and dive clubs that were looking for a quality liveaboard that can provide a high level of service.
Each year we have improved and upgraded the boat, to include all amenities a diver could need.

From November to May each year MV Queen Scuba will be offering liveaboard diving in the famous Similan, Surin islands and Richelieu Rock. With several different itineraries, five days/4 nights trips departing or finishing at Tub Lamu pier in Khao Lak, Phangna province.
In 2010 MV Queen Scuba Liveaboard began her Indonesian adventure, spending May to October of that year offering trips to the Komodo national park. Many of our past guests came and dived with us again in this new dive destination we were offering and loved the diving and of course the Queen Scuba service they loved from their previous trips with us in Thailand.
So we invite all our past guests and new guests to come and enjoy some fantastic diving in Thailand and Indonesia with MV Queen Scuba Liveaboard.

Mike Thomas
A Welsh man that left his home country far behind despite his love of sheep and the coal mines. Mike spent many years with Coral Grand Divers certifying dive students of all levels, installing in them first class dive skills. Mike left the “rock” as all Koh Tao long timers affectionately refer to the island and joined the Queen Scuba Liveaboard team in 2008. His excellent way of working with our Thai and Indonesian boat crew and our dive instructors made him the perfect choice as Tour Leader to run our trips in Indonesia. He is also the creative writing genius behind the trip reports you can find on our Facebook page.
